Abstract:
To provide a laundry transfer device which has improved transfer efficiency of laundry.SOLUTION: A laundry transfer device includes: a first pick unit 7 moving in the perpendicular direction by holding laundry; an upper pick unit support bar 8 extending in the frontward/backward direction; a second pick unit 9 for receiving the laundry from the first pick unit 7, and for operating along the upper pick unit support bar 8; a conveyance conveyor unit 10 for conveying the laundry placed on an upper surface by the second pick unit 9 backward; a length detection sensor 5 for detecting the length of the laundry hung at the first pick unit 7; and a control part 14. In the case where the length when the laundry is hung detected by the length detection part 5 is long, the control part 14 makes standby time longer which is the time from the laundry is delivered from the first pick unit 7 and received by the second pick unit 9 until the first pick unit 7 makes a holding operation possible with respect to the next laundry, compared with the case where the length of the laundry is short.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
