To provide the management method and management device of a lawn capable of simplifying and miniaturizing a water supply/discharge equipment, lowering costs and executing appropriate lawn management by using a gravel layer formed in the lowest layer of a lawn raising surface also as an underground tank.
A raising soil layer 18 is formed in the soil under the lawn raising surface 12 and a water storage gravel layer 20 formed by a water-proof sheet 23 between the ground G is formed in the lower layer of the raising soil layer 18. A water supply pipe is embedded inside the raising soil layer 18, a water discharge pipe 24 is embedded inside the water storage gravel layer 20i and the water discharge pipe 24 is connected to a manhole 26. The water of the manhole 26 is supplied to a water supply tank and the water is supplied from the water supply tank to a side groove connected to the water supply pipe. By adjusting a water discharge amount from the water discharge pipe 24, the water is stored inside the water storage gravel layer 20 and the water storage gravel layer 20 is used also as the underground tank.
