Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for effectively using a space in the rear part of the body of a lawn mower including a shooter and right and left motors that drive running wheels.SOLUTION: A lawn mower (10) includes: a housing (21) having an open bottom; a cutting blade (22) disposed in the housing (21) and driven by an engine (14); a shooter (30) extending from the housing (21) in the rear upward direction; a lawn collector (23) disposed at an exit (30a) of the shooter (30); right and left running wheels (13,13) disposed behind the housing (21); and right and left electric motors (15,15) for driving the right and left running wheels (13,13). The lawn mower (10) further includes a battery (16) for energizing the right and left electric motors (15,15). The battery (16) is disposed in a space surrounded by the right and left electric motors (15,15) and the shooter (30).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
