Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a structural member simultaneously supporting a vertical axial force and a horizontal shearing strength by lead, which has been so far considered impossible by a relatively simple constitution. SOLUTION: Steel plates 4 and lead plates 5 are laminated alternately between upper-lower steel plates 2, 3 for installation by holding the lead plates by the steel plates, and the steel plates, 2, 3 for installation, the steel plates 4 and the lead plates 5 are welded and a laminated lead bearing 1 is constituted. The state of the internal stress of lead is brought to a triaxial-stress state by thinning a lead layer and the maximum shear stress on the inside and the free surface is reduced to a low value, a vertical elastic modulus is increased, and the degree of compressive stress, in which the degree of maximum shear stress on the inside and the free surface reaches the degree of creep critical stress, is increased largely.
