Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric leakage detector that can accurately detect electric leakage in a situation where a magnetic material core has variable temperatures and that can obtain demagnetization effects.SOLUTION: An electric leakage detector 10 includes: a relay 11; a magnetic material core 12; an exciting coil 13; a detection circuit 15; and a controller 16. The controller 16 controls the relay 11 so that the relay will be in a non-connection state when a predetermined condition is satisfied while an excitation current is flowing in the exciting coil 13 in a connection state. The controller 16 holds as a new offset value a value of a current detected by the detection circuit 15 in a non-connection state. The control unit 16 controls the relay so that the relay will be in a non-connection state and controls the excitation circuit 14 so that the excitation circuit will perform demagnetization for a predetermined time in a non-connection state, when it detects electric leakage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
