In this leakage detecting tube 1A comprising an inner tube 7B and an outer tube 2A fitted to an outer side of the inner tube 7B, and detecting the leakage of water or a refrigerant circulated inside of the inner tube 7B or outside of the outer tube 2A through a leakage pathway 6 formed between the inner tube 7B and the outer tube 2A, the outer tube 2A includes an outer tube irregularities 3 composed of a number of recesses 4 and protrusions 5 formed along the tube circumferential direction on at least part of a region of the total length, the recesses and the protrusions 5 of the outer tube irregularities 3 extend along the tube axial direction of the outer tube 2A, the outer tube 2A is kept into contact with the inner tube 7B at inner faces of bottom sections of the recesses of the outer tube irregularities 3, and the leakage pathway 6 is formed by an outer peripheral face of the inner tube 7B and inner faces of the protrusions 5 of the outer tube irregularities 3.
