PURPOSE: To provide a learning recognizing device capable of normalizing an output, previously approaching the initial state of learning to an ideal state, executing rapid and efficient learning, rapidly executing additional learning to an unknown input signal, and reducing the influence of recognition performance to learned data.
CONSTITUTION: The 1st layer consisting of plural route selecting units n11, n12 each of which selects the transmission route of a signal based upon feature data and the 2nd layer consisting of units n21 to n30 are hierarchically combined to constitute plural branch structure, each route selecting unit (n) has a load for normalizing connection load and a mean value calculator for calculating the mean value of input signals in each category including the input signals and plural recognition units (q) for changing the connection load based upon a teacher signal are arranged on the upper layer of the branch structure.
