This LED light irradiation device 1 includes: a casing 20 including side faces 12; boards 2 arranged in the casing 20 and each mounted with LEDs 3; vertical fans 5 for blowing air for cooling the boards 2; guide plates 6 for forming guide passages 10 for guiding the air from the vertical fans 5 toward the boards 2; and housing object members 14 arranged in the casing 20; wherein housing spaces 13 are formed by regions surrounded by the side faces 12 of the casing 20 and the guide plates 6, the housing object members 14 are housed in the housing spaces 13, and each guide plate 6 is arranged so that the passage width on the downstream side of the guide passage 10 is set smaller than the passage width on the upstream side.
