Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED module that is configured independently of a lighting device, enables abnormality protection of the LED module or the lighting device without needing any wire between the lighting device and the LED module, and can notify an abnormality protection operation to a user.SOLUTION: An LED module (1) having first and second terminals (T1, T2) comprises an LED (10) and a switch element (20) which are connected in series between the first terminal and the second terminal, a temperature detection circuit (30) for detecting the temperature of the LED module, a control circuit (40) for conducting the switch element when the detection temperature detected by the temperature detection circuit is less than a threshold value, and opens the switch element when the detection temperature is not less than the threshold value, and a light emission element (50) that is connected onto a current passage which is closed when the control circuit opens the switch element, and emits light upon current flow through the current passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
