Abstract:
To provide an LED lighting device which uses only one kind of LED chip.
The LED source is provided with an LED chip which emits a first light, and a wavelength converter which includes a phosphor for absorbing at least one part of the first light and emitting a second light whose wavelength is longer than that of the first light. The dominant wavelength of the first light is set, so that the absolute value of the gradient (ΔK/Δλ) of the curve which represents the wavelength dependency of the internal quantum efficiency of a phosphor may be included in the wavelength range which becomes 1%/nm or more.
