Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leg frame and a chair using the leg frame which is prevented from causing a crack or shrink at a curved part when an aluminum pipe is bent to form the leg frame having a substantially right-angled curved part.SOLUTION: A pipe includes: a slope part 14 extending toward a pipe wall while being inclined toward a side of the pipe wall; and an inward rib 12 having a curved joint part 16 which connects tips of the slope parts. A compression stress acting on the pipe wall during bending process is absorbed by warpage of the slope part 14 about the joint part 16, which prevents cracks or shrinks on the pipe wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
