To provide a lens barrel which allows for providing a mounting marker thereon with a simple configuration and without increasing the number of components and electrical conduction between a mounting member of the lens barrel and a metallic covering member that covers an exterior ring, and to provide an optical device having the same.

A lens mounting marker comprises a recess provided on a covering member which covers an exterior ring that secures a mounting member of a lens barrel. Positioning of the mounting marker is done by aligning a recess provided on the exterior ring and a protrusion provided on the inner peripheral surface of the covering member at a position corresponding to the marker when assembling. Electrical conduction between the covering member and the mounting member is obtained by mounting a conductive member in the recess on the exterior ring and having the conductive member press against the mounting member and the covering member.
