Abstract:
To provide a lens barrel allowing a CCD image sensor and a peripheral circuit to be efficiently cooled.
A lens barrel 4 is freely attachable to and detachable from a camera main body and incorporates a CCD image sensor 36. A fan 47 is provided on an inner peripheral surface 45b of a zoom ring 45 operated for zoom operation. Vent holes 49 and 50 are provided in a lens barrel main body 30. When the zoom ring 45 is operated, cold air flows into an internal space 46 from the vent hole 49, and heated air flows out from the vent hole 50.
