Title:
LENS BARREL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013041003
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a lens barrel which can suitably drive a focusing lens without directly specifying a driving speed by a camera body.

A lens barrel includes: a receiving part that receives a first driving signal that is used to instruct to drive a focusing lens at a prescribed image surface travel speed from a camera body and a silent mode instruction signal; a driving part that drives the focusing lens; a control part that controls the driving part so that an imaging surface of an imaging optical system travels at the prescribed image surface travel speed in response to the first driving signal; and an upper limit determination part that determines whether or not a driving speed of the focusing lens required to achieve the prescribed image surface travel speed exceeds a prescribed upper limit speed when the silent mode instruction signal is received from the receiving part. The control part controls the driving part in such a manner that the focusing lens is driven at the first driving speed that is the prescribed upper limit speed or less when the upper limit determination part determines that the driving speed of the focusing lens exceeds the prescribed upper limit speed.
