PURPOSE: To house lens covers into a photographing device without considering an optical signal emitted from a remote controller.

CONSTITUTION: The lens covers 4A and 4B are made of resin capable of transmitting infrared rays, so that the lens covers 4A and 4B can be housed without considering the positional relation between a photodetector part 7 receiving the optical signal S1 consisting of the infrared rays emitted from the remote controller and the lens covers 4A and 4B. Thus, the latitude in the design of the photographing device can be extended and the lens covers capable of miniaturizing the photographing device and the photographing device capable of being easily made small in size can be provided.
