Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens unit which can use both an endlessness-adaptive with a focus knob having an unlimited movement range and an endlessness- inadaptive demand unit with a focus knob with a limited movement range.
SOLUTION: A lens CPU 52 discriminate which of the endlessness-adaptive demand unit 28 and endlessness-inadaptive demand unit is connected to, and generates and outputs to a focus module 30 position command data FSig2 which is limited according to control data FCtr12 inputted from the demand unit 28 without exceeding a specified lower-limit value or upper-limit value and maintains the lower-limit value or upper-limit value for the rotation of the focus knob in a direction exceeding the lower-limit value or upper-limit value when discriminating that the demand unit 28 is connected to or outputs control data FCtr12 inputted from the endlessness-inadaptive demand unit as position command data FSig2 to the focus module 30 when discriminating that the endlessness-inadaptive demand unit is connected to.
