PURPOSE: To allow one of plural light emitting elements to emit light and to display bar graphs of different lengths by forming slopes at prescribed intervals on the surface of a light transmittable plate opposite to its incident plane in such a way that the angles that they assume to said incident plane are larger than the critical angle of light.
CONSTITUTION: The upper parts of light emitting diodes 21W25 mounted on one row at prescribed intervals on a printed wiring board 1 are disposed with a light transmittable plate 8 formed with sloped oblique planes 7 of which the angles that they assume to an incident plane 6 are set larger than the critical angle in correspondence to the positions of said diodes 21W25. A bar graph display cover 9 buried in a front panel or the like is disposed above the plate 8. If any one of the diodes 21W25 is allowed to emit light, all the luminous fluxes B1WB5 on the left side of the light emitting diode which emits light emit light, whereby bar graphs are displayed.
