To eliminate generation of backlash noise and secure smooth operation of a geared cable by providing the geared cable with a flocking portion abutting to a groove peripheral surface of a cable guide groove up to a region of a cable terminal except for an engaging portion.
A flocking portion 49 is provided for a cable shaft 41 of a geared cable 35. This flocking portion 49 is constituted such that the flocking is radial, the flocking portion is provided up to a region of a cable terminal 35a except for an engaging portion 45, and the flocking portion 49 nips the engaging portion 45. In this constitution, because the flocking portion 49 abuts to a groove peripheral surface of a cable guide groove 37, the geared cable 35 smoothly slides without generating sliding noise or large sliding resistance. In addition, because the condition that the flocking portion 49 holds the cable terminal 35a is provided, in switching from traction to pressing-on, or from pressing-on to traction, movement up or down and right or down is eliminated and backlash noise does not occur between the engaging portion 45 and an engagement recessed part 43.
