PURPOSE: To offer a secure lifesaving device for shipwreck by such a construction that the body of a lifesaving device is composed of a global container, in which a dwelling chamber and a pumping facility are provided, and by giving the device proceeding and turning functions.

CONSTITUTION: The body 1 of a lifesaving device consisting of a global container is made of reinforced concrete etc. and its bottom is provided with a fixed ballast 2 of concrete, which gives the position-recovering moment. A dwelling chamber is formed at the containers 3 inside, in which a pump with engine 10 and a seat 19 are provided. From this pump 10, discharge tubes 12, 13 extend to emit the sea water, that gives the propelling force. And a flexible tube 18 extends also from this pump 10 to the top lid 15 of the body 1, to jet out the sea water from a number of nozzle holes formed in the handle part 16 and form a water curtain.
