Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lift mechanism compact in structure and high in raised discharge position, designed to make the catcher box of a lawn mower vertically movable while retaining its function to collect lawn cut by a mower mounted on the barrel of a traveling machine body.
SOLUTION: A rail body 1 is installed upright in the rear of a machine body and engaged with a mobile rail 2 in a vertically movable way; the mobile rail 2 is, in turn, engaged, in a vertically movable way, with a stand 3 fixed on a catcher box B, and one end of a 1st wire 7 is connected to the upper part of the rail body 1, while the other end, via a pulley 42 on the rail 2, to a winch on the lower part of the rail 1, and one end of a 2nd wire 8 is fixed on the rail 1, while the other end, is tightly attached, via a pulley 49 on the upper part of the rail 2, to the stand 3, and the catcher box B is designed to be vertically movable way on actuating the winch.
