Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance the extent of maneuvering performance in vertical, cross and diagonal directions of aircraft by attaching a stabilizer and a rudder 4 to a cylinder whose roll angle is free of alteration. CONSTITUTION:A rudder 4 is made movable within the range of + or -45 deg. with operation of an actuator 2, and a roll angle of a cylinder 5 is altered within the range of + or -360 deg. by a motor 1. In consequence, turning force and lift are properly selected with a cooperative action of this rudder 4 and the cylinder 5, and thereby rolling or pitching of aircraft is stopped earlier, while a turning rate is improved.
