Abstract:

To provide a display device and an electric appliance low in power consumption and long in lifetime.

An insulator partition 103 is provided on a substrate 101 and a first electrode 102 so as to surround respective pixels 110, and a conductive polymer 104 is applied on the whole surface. In this case, a thickness shape of the conductive polymer 104 has the following relation due to influences of the insulator partition 103: T2>T1>T3. Therefore, a resistance in a lateral direction in a T3 part becomes high, and crosstalk can be prevented. Owing to a function as a buffer layer of the conductive polymer 104, power consumption can be suppressed. Further, since a T2 part becomes thick, electric field concentration around a pixel part can be alleviated, and as a result, deterioration of an organic light-emitting element that begins at the circumference of the pixel part can be prevented.
