Title:
LIGHT EMITTING DISPLAY SWITCH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002313168
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide a switch using EL light emitting element with which brightness can be increased without increasing power voltage or frequency and a simple circuitry and distinguished visibility can be realized.
A light emitting display switch 4 is composed of an insulating translucent resin 1 and of an EL light emitting element 2 arranged right underneath the plain of the translucent resin 1 and with a similar color to the resin 1 when not lighted. Due to this composition, the color of the display when not lighted is the same as that of the insulating translucent resin 1 but the color changes when lighted to a different hue from that of the resin 1 by the emission of the EL itself, showing distinguished visibility by the difference of hues.
