Abstract:
To provide a light emitting element that has high luminous efficacy and is driven with low voltage.SOLUTION: A light emitting element has a guest material and a host material. The LUMO level of the guest material is higher than the LUMO level of the host material, and the HOMO level of the guest material is lower than the HOMO level of the host material. The guest material has a function that can convert a triplet excitation energy into light emission. In the host material, a difference in level between a singlet excitation energy and the triplet excitation energy is larger than 0 eV and 0.2 eV or less, and a difference in energy between the LUMO level and the HOMO level of the host material is equal to or more than the energy of light emission exhibited by the guest material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
