PURPOSE: To make simplification and miniaturization for high luminance of a displayed image by moving a holder unit in the rotating, vertical and/or horizontal direction so as to adjust an image in the rotating, vertical and/or horizontal direction.
CONSTITUTION: A part 66 of a board 61 having a light modulating element 64 is inserted into an opening part of a holder unit 62 so as to fix the whole of the board 61. A mirror light bulb fitting block 50 is arranged with a second reflecting mirror 8, a mirror holder 51 of a relay lens 9 and a lens holder 52 on a base 53, which is fitted freely to be adjusted in the optical axial direction of the relay lens 9. This fitting block 50 is formed of a slide mechanism and a rotary mechanism, and provided with a horizontal adjusting screw 55, a vertical screw 56 and a rotating directional adjusting screw 57 for adjusting image position. Pulse motors 58, 59, 60 are respectively driven, and a mirror light bulb is moved so as to adjust the image in the horizontal, vertical and rotating direction.
