Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light shielding hood for a quid crystal deviceh is good in versatity, is made freely attachable/detachable and can be fixed stably and which does not soil a liquid crystal device since a double sided adhesive tape or the like is not used, and to provide its manufacturing method.
SOLUTION: In the light shielding hood for the liquid crystal device covering a liquid crystal screen Q of the liquid crystal equipment, the hood main body 1 is constructed with a mounting body 10 and a light shielding body 20 which is freely attachably and detachably mounted on the mounting body 10. The mounting body 10 has a nearly square tubular shape and is provided with an outer tube 11, an inner tube 12 and a hollow part 13 in between and further an adhesive body 14 composed of an adhesive soft material is integrally attached to nearly the whole of the hollow part 13. A protruding part 14a is provided on the mounting body 10 by making the adhesive body 14 protrude in a nearly tubular shape from a base part side surface of the mounting body 10. The light shielding body 20 has the nearly tubular shape and has the base part formed in a vertical plane shape and the top part formed in an inclined plane shape.
