Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of narrowing down a beam while reducing the effect of aberration more.SOLUTION: The light source device comprises a collimator lens group 22 for converting each of a plurality of beams from a light source group 11 to a parallel beam, a mirror group 33 for reflecting a plurality of parallel beams from the collimator lens group 22, and a compression lens group 55 for receiving plurality of parallel beams from the mirror group 33. A cross section of a collimator lens 2 which is orthogonal to the XY cross section of the collimator lens 2 parallel to the optical axis and in which the angle of radiation of a beam from the light source 1 is smaller than the angle of radiation at the XY cross section is made into a YZ cross section. At the XY cross section, the plurality of parallel beams from the collimator lens group 22 are shrunk in their mutual distance as they get closer to the mirror group 33; at the YZ cross section, the plurality of parallel beams from the mirror group 33 are shrunk in their mutual distance as they get closer to the compression lens group 55. The compression lens group 55 converts the plurality of parallel beams from the mirror group 33 to a plurality of parallel beams parallel to each other.
