Abstract:

To provide a light source device wherein a light source constituted of a discharge tube light source etc., is efficiently cooled when cooling the light source by the blast from a blower fan, and also, a control of partially cooling the light source can be performed.

The air sent from the blower fan 9 such as a sirocco fan through an air outlet 13 is guided through an air guiding member 14 and intensively sprayed from an air flow port 7 toward an electrode sealing part of the light source 3 inside a reflection mirror 1, then, the electrode sealing part of the light source 3 is cooled.
