Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect deterioration and failures generated at light-emitting elements 122 and circuit components and perform control to turn off the light, in a light source unit 100 using the light-emitting elements 122 as a light source.SOLUTION: A light source unit 100 comprises: a plurality of light-emitting elements 122; a voltage dividing part 126 connected in parallel to the plurality of light-emitting elements 122; a control unit 124 that detects variation in a forward voltage applied to the plurality of light-emitting elements 122; and a switch part 123 connected in series to the plurality of light-emitting elements 122, and controlled by the control unit 124. Thereby, the light source unit 100 can detect deterioration and failures generated at the light-emitting elements 122 and circuit components, and can perform control to turn off the light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
