Abstract:
To provide a lighting system wherein an exclusive signal line is omitted, yet optical output of a luminaire can be controlled.
This lighting system is equipped with a luminaire 5 having a discharge lamp 7 and a starting-circuit 5a to impress a starting voltage on the discharge lamp, and a lighting device 3 connected to the luminaire through a load line 4 to supply power to the luminaire and transmit a control signal to the starting-circuit.
