Abstract:
PURPOSE: To adjust the brightness of an image by using an ND filter by means of motor drive without lowering the out-of-focus image and the resolution of a video camera and to surely lock the turning position of the filter.
CONSTITUTION: The filter 2 is arranged to get in/out the front of an iris 1 with a fulcrum shaft 4 as a turning center, and a slotstate guide hole 5 is provided to be biased to one side of a frame 3 holding the filter 2 and nearly parallel with a center line passing the shaft 4. An operation pin 11 protrusively provided to be biased to the outer peripheral part of a rotary disk 10 with the output shaft 9 of a motor 7 as a turning center is engaged with the guide hole, and the filter 2 is locked at the turning position so as to obtain the bite angle of the operation pin 11 at upper and lower dead points at the turning position of the filter 2 to the guide hole 5.
