To provide a lighting device capable of restraining blue colored reflective light in case of observation from a slanted direction of a screen, a tablet and a liquid crystal display equipped with either the lighting device or the tablet, in a structure in which the lighting device and the tablet are provided with an anti-reflection layer.
In the anti-reflection layer 37 of the lighting device arranged at a whole surface of a light guide plate side of a front cover or the tablet arranged further toward an observer side than a light source 13 and the light guide plate 12, fine concave parts or fine convex parts are arrayed in a staggered manner parallel with a diffusion direction of light inside the light guide plate 12. With this, a effective pitch of either the concave or the convex parts parallel with the diffusion direction of the light becomes dense, so that a blue primary reflection color as the screen is observed from a slanted direction can be restrained and liquid crystal display with high brightness and an excellent color reproduction property can be obtained.
