PURPOSE: To enable mutual communication between subscribers in a line concentrator in case of failure of transmission line, by providing a self-control processing controller at the line concentration side.
CONSTITUTION: A self-control processing controller APR is provided at a line concentrator RLC side, and a call processing controller CPR of a master station uses data links and transfers subscriber data relating to a remote subscriber line concentrator perrodically to the APR. The APR stores the received subscriber data to a memory, and if no correspondence is made because of failure of transmission line between the remote subscriber line concentrator and the master station, the APR uses the subscriber data stored in the memory and processes it in place of the CPR. But, this processing is only processing relating to the mutual connection in the remote subscriber line concentrator, and busy processing is made to calls for other stations and the master station.
