Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce cost and improve reliability.
CONSTITUTION: A clamp 4 and a gasket 3 are inserted along a cable 5 after the skin 5d, outer conductor 5c and insulator 5b thereof are respectively peeled to the predetermined length. Thereafter, a thin tapered section 2a formed on the cable introduction side of a tapered clamp 2 is inserted in space between the skin 5d and outer conductor 5c of the cable 5, and the crimp section 2b of the clamp 2 is clamped with the prescribed crimp tool for preliminary connection to the outer conductor 5c under pressure. Also, the crimp section of a center contact 1 is clamped with the prescribed crimp tool and preliminarily press fitted to a center conductor 5a. Furthermore, a gasket 3 is mounted on the skin 5d where the tapered section 2a is inserted, and the contact 1 and the tapered clamp 2 are inserted to a shell 6. Then, the threaded section 4b of the clamp 4 is screwed into the threaded section 6c of the shell 6.
