PURPOSE: To operate line switches simultaneously at the operation time to prevent the setting of communication lines from being late for the designated time, by transferring preliminarily operation information of line switches at the operation time from a control center to line switching controllers.

CONSTITUTION: A control center 6 which receives information for reserving the communication between terminals 1 and 2 completes to transfer and store operation information of disconnection and connection, for example, at a time Tn, which are required by line switches 31, 32, and 33, into line switching controllers 41, 42, and 43 during the time from an operation time Tn-1 just before the Tn to the operation time Tn. At the time Tn, an operation indicating signal is given to respective line switching controllers, and line switches 31, 32, and 33 are operated simultaneously on a basis of operation information which are stored preliminarily in respective switching controllers. Thus, the setting of the communication line between terminals 1 and 2 is not late for the designated time, and a uniform service is supplied even if many reservations overlap at the same time.
