PURPOSE: To execute many sizes in small quantities production by composing a line of devices for rolling channel of each device for roughly forming a base metal with combined chevrons, for forming that intermediate material, for flatening the middle part of the intermediate material, for forming the end parts of flanges, for flatening a web, and for finish rolling.

CONSTITUTION: The line of the devices for rolling channel is composed of a device for roughly forming a slab into the base metal with combined chevrons, device for making the intermediate material with a prescribed thickness and width, device for flatening the middle chevron part of the intermediate material, device for arranging the end parts of the flanges, device for flatening the web, and device for finish rolling. In this way, the channel of the same siries with a fixed outside width and free size of thickness can be rolled, many sizes in small quantities production can be dealt with and also production efficiency can be improved.
