Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a predetermined position signal of a movable element block when a conducting member mounted on the block touches a position detecting contact piece by previously electrically connecting the piece to a signal circuit, and arranging a position detecting member at a predetermined Position.
CONSTITUTION: A linear motor comprises a stator block, a movable element block 7, a position detecting member 14 and a conducting Member 18 as main component members. The member 14 has a signal board 15, a contact piece holder 16, and two position detecting contact pieces 17, 17. The holder 16 is so arranged fixedly in 8 stator case 2 that the pieces 17, 17 are located at desired positions, thereby bringing outer contact parts 17b, 17b into contact with conducting parts 15a, 15b under predetermined pressure. When the block 7 approaches an end and a conducting piece 18b of the member 18 is brought into contact with both contact parts 17c, 17c of the pieces 17, 17, a signal circuit is operated to sense the block 7 to obtain a predetermined position signal.
