PURPOSE: To attain the unitary control of a data base and to facilitate the examination reservation and the inquiry of the examination result by using the control identifiers stored in the data bases of a medical department and an examination department to designate the type of the examination department and using a control code of the examination department to perform the exchange between the data on both departments.

CONSTITUTION: An order basic table 1 of the examination department, a medical order data base 2 of each medical department, the control data bases 3A - 3N prepared for each examination department are provided. When each medical department requests the examination department for the examination, a control identifier is read out of the table 1 in accordance with the contents of the request and stores it in the base 2. At the same time, the request contents and the personal information are stored in the bases 3A - 3N. Then the examination is carried out at a reserved time and the examination result is divided and stored in the base 2 and the bases 3A - 3N respectively. As a result, the reservation of the examination is facilitated to the examination department and the inquiry of the examination result is also faciliated.
