PURPOSE: To prevent the deterioration of the orientation property of liquid crystal caused by impact and vibration given from an external part.

CONSTITUTION: A nearly sealed space 20 is constituted of a liquid crystal panel 1, a panel supporting member 5 and a light unit 7; also the impact and vibration given from the external part is absorbed by the elasticity of the nearly sealed space 20; the liquid crystal panel 1 and the panel supporting member 5 are supported through an elastic member 6 so that the partial deformation of the liquid crystal panel 1 is restrained; and interval fluctuation between the liquid crystal panel 1 and polarizing films 2 and 3 is prevented by sticking the polarizing films 2 and 3 to a transparent substrate.
