Abstract:
To improve the reflection characteristics and to obtain bright display so as to efficiently use the area in a pixel.
In the process of forming an interlayer insulating film on an active matrix element and forming a contact hole in the contact part of the interlayer insulating film with the pixel electrode of the active matrix element, an organic photosensitive resin is used as the interlayer insulating film and is irradiated with UV rays to form a tapered opening. Then a reflective electrode is formed by pattering in the tapered part.
