Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the device which can be stabilized in variance in the threshold voltage of a thin film transistor(TFT) and has superior display quality by providing an opening part of an inter-layer insulating film on the TFT.
SOLUTION: The inter-layer insulating film 9 has a 1st opening part 10 and a 2nd opening part 18 penetrating the inter-layer insulating film 9 respectively. The 1st opening part 10 is formed opposite part of an auxiliary capacity wire 19 provided on the 1st substrate 1. Further, the 2nd opening part 18 is provided on the TFT 23. The 1st opening part 10 functions as a through hole for electrically connecting a pixel electrode 11 and a lead-out electrode 7 to each other. Consequently, the pixel electrode 11 and the drain electrode 6 of the TFT 23 are electrically connected. This device can be made free of the influence of metal ions in the inter-layer insulating film 9 on the TFT 23 by providing the 2nd opening part 18 on the TFT 23.
