Abstract:
PURPOSE: To coat the surfaces of electrodes and substrates in contact with a nematic liquid crystal with dielectric films in order to uniformarize the molecular arrangement of the liquid crystal, whereby the electrooptic characteristics of the display device are improved and, at the same time, the quality of the device is maintained constant for a longer period of time.
