Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device ensuring a lamination margin and capable of reducing variations in optical characteristics while achieving high definition of pixels.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device has: a first pixel including a gate wiring line laid in a first direction, a first switching element connected to the gate wiring, and a first pixel electrode connected to the first switching element via a first contact hole disposed in an insulation layer; and a second pixel including a second switching element connected to the gate wiring line and a second pixel electrode connected to the second switching element via a second contact hole disposed in the insulation layer. A first spacer is disposed in the first pixel, while a second spacer is disposed in the second pixel; the first spacer and the second spacer are disposed substantially on the same straight line in one direction; and the first contact hole and the second contact hole are alternately disposed interposing a straight line connecting the first spacer and the second spacer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
