To provide a liquid detergent composition for clothes, capable of preventing yellowing even when the object is washed with water containing a large amount of iron ion, and having excellent detergency and excellent preservation stability.
There is provided a liquid detergent composition for clothes, containing the following components (A), (B) and (C), regulated so that the content of the component (A) may be 5-20 mass%, the mass ratio represented by components (A)/(B) may be 100-1,000, and the pH at 25°C is 5-8.5: component (A): an ester salt of an α-sulfofatty acid wherein the number of carbons in the fatty acid residue is 14-18; component (B): a 12-18C fatty acid; and component (C): at least one kind of compounds selected from a 4-6C linear or branched saturated monohydric alcohol and an aromatic monohydric alcohol represented by general formula (c) (wherein, R1c is hydrogen or methyl; X is oxygen or methylene; and n is a number of 0-1).
