Abstract:
To provide a liquid discharge device that can reduce waiting-time after pressure-cleaning.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device 50 according to the present invention comprises a liquid container 60, a discharge head 70, a liquid flow path 80, a liquid feeding pump 90, a branched flow path 110, a valve 120 and a control device. The branched flow path 110 has a first end part 111 connected to a portion 80a closer to the discharge head 70 than the liquid feeding pump 90, of the liquid flow path 80, and an opened second end part 112. The valve 120 can open and close the branched flow path 110. A first discharging control part of the control device drives the liquid feeding pump 90 to discharge liquid through a nozzle 71, and thereafter a second discharging control part thereof stops the liquid feeding pump 90. A third discharge control part closes the valve 120 at least before the second discharging control part stops the liquid feeding pump 90, and thereafter a fourth discharging control part opens the valve 120.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
