There are provided a work mounting and moving device 100 installed with a substrate attraction table 3 arranging and attracting the substrate 5, and a camera unit 106 detecting the position in a plane direction of a reference mark provided on the substrate 5, a function liquid device 150 supplying a function liquid to a liquid droplet discharge head 111, a head mounting and moving device 200 having a liquid droplet discharge head 111 discharging the function liquid to the substrate 5, and a controller 16 controlling the head mounting and moving device according to the detection result of the camera unit 106. Then the liquid discharge device 1 characterized by the substrate attraction table 3 made of a conductive material and grounded, the electro-optical device produced by the liquid discharge device 1, the method for producing the electro-optical device and the electronic appliance are provided.
