The liquid ejection head includes: a head body 10 having a nozzle opening 11 ejecting the liquid; a cover 20 protrudedly set around a liquid ejection face 12 with the nozzle opening 11 opened thereon in the liquid ejection direction; a straightening plate 30 separatedly set from the liquid ejection face 12 in the cover 20 with an opening set in a region facing the nozzle opening 11; and an air flow generation means 40 generating the air flow along the face direction of the liquid ejection face 12 between the liquid ejection face 12 and straightening plate 30. The straightening plate 30 is tiltedly set in relation to the liquid ejection face 12.
