To provide a liquid jet apparatus which can optimize a relative positional relationship between a wiping area of a wiper blade and a nozzle array.
A channel unit 13 comprises a pressure generating chamber forming plate 19, a sealing plate 20 which is joined to the plate 19, a nozzle plate 16 which has the nozzle array 11a and which is joined to the plate 19, and the like. The channel unit 13 has the wiper blade 9 which is joined to a head case 15 and which wipes out a liquid adhering to a nozzle forming surface 16a. The channel unit 13 is provided with a guide member 42 which is provided integrally with the wiper blade 9, and which guides the wiper blade 9 and the nozzle array 11a so as to bring them into a predetermined relative positional relationship by coming into contact with a lateral side surface 41 along the main scanning direction of the a liquid jet head 10. Thus, the wiping width of the wiper blade 9 serves as a normal moving locus, and such a situation that a nozzle opening 11 is kept in an unwiped state can be prevented.
