Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent scattering of wearing powder and ensure smooth rotation of a rotary shaft, by forming a bearing through the combination of molybdenum disulfide and polyphenylene sulfide resin. CONSTITUTION:A bearing 4 is a slide bearing, solidified by mixing molybdenum disulfide MoS2 and polyphenylene sulfide resin, and grooves 4a are provided in the direction a rotary shaft 3 is extended through. The molybdenum disulfide is provided not with large strength but with good lubrication, and reinforced by the polyphenylene sulfide resin. Further friction heat, generated between the rotary shaft 3 and the slide bearing 4, can be cooled by a liquid state coolant circulatively flowing in the grooves 4.
