Title:
LIQUID SPRAYER NOZZLES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS52136408
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
The electrostatic paint spray has a central rectangular section block (7) with a paint delivery channel through it, terminating under a head with a conical top surface, with the jet hole (5) in the middle, between two electrodes (17, 18). Between the electrodes and the central part, is a ring shaped block with the hole inside terminating in sloping surfaces matching the sloping head. This gives two channels (13, 14) directed towards the spray which give the spray a fan shape. On the centre line at right angles to the centre line on which are located the electrodes and these two channels, are discharge holes delivering air from below to opposite points alongside the jet. These deliver auxiliary air radially.
